Ex-President Jacob Zuma’s military doctors failed to meet the 20th August deadline to hand over their report on Zuma’s fitness to stand trial for corruption.
His doctors have now been given an extra week to hand in their report which is set to be confidential.
Zuma’s lawyer Dali Mpofu previously noted during virtual hearings that it would only be after the former president’s doctors had compiled their report on his health that his lawyers would make a decision on whether or not to seek a longer postponement for his corruption trial.
