The Israeli occupation regime is stepping up its attack on the Al Aqsa Mosque complex.

For the first time the Zionist forces allowed the illegal settlers to break into the noble sanctuary via the eastern side’s Lions Gate. The gate is only used by Muslim worshippers.

Al Aqsa Mosque Director Sheikh Omar Kiswani says this is serious violation of the status quo and the agreement signed between the occupation regime and Jordan.

The latest act of Israeli desecration comes on the 53rd commemoration of the terrorist attack on the noble sanctuary. The Australian Denis Michael Rohan had set alight the main building inside the Al Aqsa Mosque and its pulpit.

The Palestinian resistance has warned the Zionist regime against further attacks and has called on Palestinians and others to defend the holy place.
