The campaign to silence those critical of Apartheid-Israel has become more brazen over the last week. Following last week Sunday’s pro-Palestine demonstration at the Sea Point promenade, it seemingly ruffled the feathers of some Jewish residents in the upmarket suburb. Chief Rabbi Warren Goldstein has also been called out for his utterances on the situation in Palestine, defending the Zionist regime’s inhumane actions against Palestinians. Goldstein’s utterances, among others including that of the Cape Jewish Board of Directors (SAJBD), on its Islamaphobic statement to ‘protect’ the Jewish community has also sparked concern.
