For close to two decades now the Middle East has been the scene of intense global battles.
From the July 2006 Israeli/Lebanon war – when the US gave rise to a nefarious plan of a “New Middle East” which Hezbollah defeated – to the “Arab Spring”. During this so-called Spring, eyes were turned away from the Palestinian cause and directed to countries like Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Yemen, and Syria where protests had erupted.
Out of this, the Ansarallah movement became a force in Yemen while Syria – regarded as the backbone of the resistance – was dragged into a foreign backed unrest which it withstood. And in Iraq the community battalions known as al-Hashd al-Shaabi rose to defeat the ISIL terrorist group. Fast forward to May 2021 the battle of Seif Al Quds returned the regions eyes to Al Quds and Palestine.
For the first time a unity front was ushered in to safeguard Al Quds and its Islamic and Christian sanctities, it went beyond the borders of Palestine. And two years later the historic roaring flood arrived – sweeping the Israeli occupation entity. From the “Arab Spring” to the arrival of Al Aqsa Flood…the power shifts in the Middle East.
