Mobility MEC in the Western Cape Daylin Mitchell has condemned the torching of Golden Arrow buses and private vehicles in Nyanga and Philippi areas.
A total of four buses, a private and state vehicle were stoned this morning after an impoundment operation targeting illegal taxis.
Mitchell says the provincial government will make use of all available regulatory measures to take action against anyone guilty of public violence, arson or intimidation.
The vehicles were petrol bombed on Govan Mbeki Road and Emms Drive just before nine o’clock this morning.
