South Africa shares a long history of struggle with Palestine and its people.
Palestinian activist, Muna el Kurd, is in Cape Town as part of her tour of South Africa to raise awareness about the Israeli aggression and occupation of her land.
She reiterates that there are many people who are battling the Israeli occupation in different ways. El Kurd remembers the Palestinians who are on hunger strike in Israeli prisons, and the people who, by just living in their homes, are defending their land from the Zionist regime and its attempts to steal their land.
El Kurd maintains that Palestinians’ existence is already a form of resistance against occupation.
