Vegan Chocolate Chip and Pecan Nut Cookie

INGREDIENTS 

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup mashed banana
  • ½ cup vegan chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup chopped pecan nuts

METHOD

1. Before starting your prep Pre heat oven to 180℃.

2. Mash about 2 ½ – 3 bananas to make a cup of mashed bananas and add to a mixing bowl.

3. To the mixing bowl add in 2 cups of rolled oats, ½ cup chocolate chips and ¼ cup chopped pecan nuts.

4. Once all the ingredients are together ,mix by hand until it form dough then let it rest for one minute.

5.Once your dough has rested, grease a baking sheet with a little oil (to prevent it from sticking) then roll 12 cookie dough balls and space evenly on the greased baking sheet and press down on the cookie dough balls to make it flat and round because you want a rustic look, then place them in the oven for exactly 10 minutes.

6. Once the cookies are baked allow to cool for 5 mins ,then remove cookies from the baking sheet and place on a cooling rack to cool off further and then enjoy.
