The US will be providing Ukraine with 350-million dollars in additional military assistance.
It comes as fighting continues between Ukrainian and Russian troops.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken says the lethal defensive assistance that it will provide Ukraine is to help it address the armored, airborne, and other threats it is facing because of Russia. Blinken adds that this move is another clear sign of US’s support to the Ukraine, as they defend their sovereignty.

Earlier this week, President Joe Biden announced that sanctions will be imposed against Russia, after President Vladimir Putin ordered a special military operation in Ukraine’s breakaway Donbass region on February 24th.
Meanwhile, Kremlin has accused Ukraine of prolonging the conflict by refusing to negotiate.
