The UK government has banned controversial consultancy firm Bain & Company from doing any business interactions, and receiving government contracts for the next three years.
During the State Capture Commission of Inquiry hearings, the commission found that Bain aided abetted corruption at the South African Revenue Services (Sars).
Former UK MP and Anti-Apartheid activist Lord Peter Hain welcomed the decision, saying global corporates like Bain have to suffer the consequences of their actions.
