At least two men have lost their lives after a fire gutted an informal structure in Bellville South.

The blaze occurred in Armada Street during the early hours of this morning.

The City’s Fire and Rescue Service says the scene has been handed over to the police.

The cause of the fire is still unclear at this stage.
