Toy for Joy is a community outreach project initiated by Radio 786 and, now in its 13th year. Over the years with the assistance of our business community and the Radio 786 listeners, we managed to gift thousands of toys to children at various organisations such as Red Cross Children’s Hospital, Christine Revell Home, Saartjie Baartman Centre, MRASA, the Children’s Unit at Tygerberg Hospital and many more.

Our call for assistance was once again heeded by our community and partners such as Planet Mercy and the Duinefontein Muslim Women’s Association, in helping Radio 786 fulfill its social responsibility and putting a smile on a child’s face by assisting with the collection of toys for the boys at St Francis Child and Youth Care Centre, our nominated beneficiary.
