At least three suspects who allegedly tried to flee while dragging a bus shelter on Old Strandfontein Road near Lotus River have been arrested.
According to Law Enforcement spokesperson Wayne Dyson they had received an alert from a member of the public during the early hours of this morning about property being vandalised and stolen.
After being caught, the males were also found in possession of housebreaking implements.
They were detained at Grassy Park police station on charges of malicious damage to property and the possession of house breaking tools.
