There has been a triple murder in an informal settlement in Southfield.

Diep River police found the men face down on the ground with gunshot wounds to the head.

According to information gathered by police a group of armed suspects with flashlights approached the victims on foot and fired several shots.

The victims are aged between 42 and 47. The motive for the attack is still unclear at this stage.

No arrests have yet been made.
