At least three shooting incidents were reported in the southern suburbs of Cape Town on Tuesday. A total of three people were killed and four others wounded. No arrests have yet been made in these cases. Police are investigating the circumstances and motives for these attacks.
A 38-year-old man was killed and three others wounded in a mass shooting in Kirstenhof near Steenberg. The attack happened after 7pm on the corner of Main and Military Roads.
There has been a double murder in Capricorn. Muizenberg police officers found the female bodies in a house in Apple Street. Both had gunshot wounds.
Steenberg police detectives are investigating the attempted murder of a taxi driver on Prince George’s Drive. The 42-year-old was seriously injured when he was shot in the abdomen. It’s alleged that the taxi driver was attacked by an unknown man when his vehicle was stationary at a robot. The suspect managed to flee the scene.
