The massive attack launched by terrorists on the Syrian city of Aleppo is only to serve the Israeli occupation entity.

Geo-political commentator Zaakir Mayet believes the assault is no coincidence as the attack happened just hours after the Israeli Prime Minister Banjamin Netanyahu had threatened Syria saying it should be careful as it’s playing with fire. It related to its support for the resistance in Lebanon.

The Zionist leader made the threats during the announcement of the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon which Israel was forced to accept as it failed to defeat or weaken Hezbollah.

“These terrorist elements are being used to destabilize Syria and it aims to pull Hezbollah fighters away from southern Lebanon as Israel tries achieves its goals against the Islamic resistance movement.” said Mayet.

Meanwhile, a former Israeli military intelligence officer Lieutenant Colonel Mordechai Kedar said that he has been in contact with the so-called rebels in Syria.

He explains that they have shown interests in normalizing relations with the Israeli occupation regime only if they control Syria and Lebanon.

Kedar further noted that he received a detailed list of the equipment the terrorists in northern Syria need from the Israeli regime. He adds that he has passed the list on to senior Israeli occupation officials
