The Congress of Democratic Taxi Associations (Codeta) has resumed its services in the Western Cape. This after violent clashes between it and rival taxi association, the Cape Amalgamated Taxi Association (Cata) have been engaged in violent clashes which has claimed more than 80 lives this year.

The South African National Civic Organisation says it’s relieved that the ceasefire has been accomplished, and hopes that Cata joins soon.
