Syria has told the United Nations that it reserves the right to respond to Israeli, Turkish and American attacks on its sovereignty.
In a letter to the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the Security Council, Damascus demanded that they condemn these crimes.
It came as the Israeli occupation regime again carried out a missile attack on the Syrian capital killing four soldiers and wounding three others. Syria’s Foreign Ministry says this was a blatant and cowardly aggression. It notes that the Israeli aggression coincides with the continuous attacks perpetrated by the US and Turkish occupation forces on Syrian citizens and their land. Damascus says these attacks are being being conducted in support of terrorist groups and therefore prolongs the war in Syria.
