A suspect linked to the murder of Athlone vet, Dr Natheem Jacobs, has handed himself over to police.

Western Cape SAPS Serious Crimes Unit Lieutenant-Colonel Adrian Pretorius says that Javon Williams is due to appear in the Athlone Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.

The Jacobs(27) was killed in March when he was awoken by noises outside and tried to confront criminals who were trying to strip his vehicle outside his home.

Williams is allegedly part of a wheel theft syndicate that targets cars parked outside.
