A suspect believed to be involved in a shooting near Gugulethu’s Khikhi informal settlement has been arrested.

According to Law Enforcement spokesperson, Wayne Dyson, Leap officers intercepted the suspect after being alerted that he was running on Govan Mbeki Road towards Steve Biko Drive.

Upon searching him, officers found a prohibited firearm with illegal ammunition was found.
