A bomb planted in a taxi has exploded outside the Sayyidina Zeinab shrine in a southern suburb of the capital Damascus, leaving several casualties.

According to Syrian news, six citizens were killed yesterday and nearly 23 others were injured in the terrorist explosion.

The attack comes as Muslims will this evening begin commemorating a key point in Islamic history that depicted the struggle against an oppressive regime.

The Day of Ashura is marked on the tenth of Muharram, on which the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)’s grandson, Hussein was martyred.

The battle of Karbala is an ideal example of the tyrannical majority targeting the righteous minority.

This kind of battle continues in Palestine, where the Zionist colonial entity, oppresses millions of Palestinians.
