Former Health Minister Zweli Mhize contends that the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) probe into the controversial Digital Vibes contract has jeopardized his political career.
Mkhize approached the High Court in Johannesburg requesting that it set aside the SIU’s findings, and declare it unconstitutional.
He notes that should the SIU have taken his submission and evidence taken into consideration, the outcome of the saga would have been different. Mkhize adds that the report’s findings had immense personal consequences for him.
However, according to the SIU Mkhize and his son illegally benefitted from an R150-million tender.
