Shaykh Irafaan Abrahams maintains that his case against the Muslim Judicial Council’s push for early elections in September 2023 is valid and will return to have it resolved.

Abrahams has leveled various allegations of irregularities within the MJC.

These relate to the concerns of financial mismanagement within the organisation. Abrahams also contends that those implicated in the initial probe had assumed the duties of overseeing the disciplinary process, which never happened.
