Seven people have been arrested in India’s Uttar Pradesh state for allegedly putting up “Free Gaza, Free Palestine” posters.
During the protest, demonstrators called for the boycotting of Israeli goods. The arrests come in the wake of India cracking down on pro-Palestine protests under the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Under Modi’s leadership, far-right Hindu groups have been allowed to host pro-Israeli rallies.
India is one of the countries that supplies weapons to Israel enabling them to continue their genocidal campaign against Palestinians.
Meanwhile, in Morocco, a large protest took place in Tangier against the docking of Israeli ships at Moroccan ports. Security forces intervened, surrounding pro-Palestinian demonstrators and preventing them from reaching the city’s port.
