The resistance-led operation on occupied Palestinian land continues into its third day. More than 700 Israeli’s have been killed, at least according to the Zionist government. However, that number may be much higher as fierce fighting continues in several parts of the occupied lands.
Palestinian resistance fighters continue to take the fight to Israeli occupation forces in three main areas in southern so-called Israel – at a kibbutz in Karmia, and in the cities of Ashkelon and in Sderot.
This, as Hamas has confirmed holding more than 100 Israelis captive.
International Human Rights Lawyer Stanley Cohen spoke to Radio 786 noting that Operation Al Quds Flood has context informed by 75+ years occupation. An act of resistance which Cohen said is in response to the silence of the world in the face of rape, occupation, land theft, murder and kidnapping. It’s the non-stop of the breach of international law for 75 years, this is what Palestinians are addressing through Op Al Aqsa Flood, said Cohen.
On whether the indiscriminate bombing of Gaza will deter the resistance, Cohen described the Zionist entity and its regime as desperate. Cohen said they have begun to believe their own propaganda, believing that Palestinians will give up, but this operation has shown that this is not the case. Instead, Cohen said it will strengthen Palestinians
The Palestinian Resistance is more focused, more determined than it has been in years – any tactics used by the Zionists will only further strengthen the resolve of the Palestinians, said Cohen.
