Google’s business model is placing an unfair advantage on established companies.

The Competition Commission has found that the top searches on the popular search engine are either dominated by companies that can afford the prime spot, or those that are already getting widespread attention.

This forces many smaller companies down the list, and some are even disregarded because they do not make it to the top of the search options.

Freelance journalist, Chris Louw says that its also difficult for consumers to make the distinctions.
