The Gauteng government plans on suing Pretoria News editor Piet Rampedi and Independent Media for its reporting on the so-called decuplets.

This, after no Gauteng hospital both public and private, could confirm the birth of ten babies by Gosiame Sithole on June 7th. Sithole was admitted to Tembisa Hospital on June 18th where various medical tests were conducted to determine the state of her health.

However, medical practitioners revealed that she had never been pregnant. Spokesperson for the Gauteng government Thabo Masebe says Independent Media should retract the allegations made against the government and issue an apology.
