SAPS questions how 90 Ethiopian nationals were trafficked into SA

An investigation is underway to determine how 90 Ethiopian nationals were trafficked into South Africa.

The police found the undocumented persons in locked rooms at a property in Sunnydale Ridge, in Johannesburg.

Police spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe says they made the discovery after tracing a victim who was kidnapped for ransom.

The person was found at the property.

Two alleged human traffickers and kidnappers were arrested.
