South African Football Association president Danny Jordaan has been granted bail of R 20 000 following his arrest on charges of fraud and theft amounting to R1.3 million.
Jordaan, along with SAFA CFO Gronie Hluyo and businessman Trevor Neethling, appeared in the Specialised Commercial Crime Court in Palm Ridge on Wednesday.
Magistrate Phillip Venter set the bail at R 20 000 each, with the State not opposing.
The accused claimed that the arrests are an abuse of process, with no case against them.
They face seven charges, including fraud and theft, related to alleged misuse of SAFA funds between 2014 and 2018.
