The Restaurant Association of South Africa (RASA) has called for help to get stock delivered to affected restaurants in KwaZulu-Natal.
This, after hundreds of restaurants, were looted and their property damaged during last week’s looting spree. This blow comes as the industry still hasn’t recovered from the hard lockdown. President of the Restaurant Association of South Africa (RASA) Wendy Alberts says RASA is trying to get food trucks to affected restaurants in Johannesburg and KwaZulu-Natal to deliver stock.
Several restaurants have been forced to close their doors after the unrest.
