It has emerged that 27-year-old Muneeb Ismail was dropped-off by his kidnappers at the Harare police station in Khayelitsha last night.

According to police he sustained bruises to his body.

He was taken for a medical assessment before being reunited with his family.

Muneeb was kidnapped by three armed men in a white Mercedes-Benz at a family business in Old Nooiensfontein Road in Silversands on Thursday afternoon.

Police say the information gathered from the victim and the circumstances surrounding his ordeal will form part of the investigation.

No arrests have yet been made.
