The Democratic Alliance says that the president’s five-point energy plan is straight out of the party’s playbook.
Last night President Cyril Ramaphosa announced plans to address the country’s energy crisis.
The DA has been pushing for Independent Power Producers to fill the country’s short term electricity supply gap.
This as President Ramaphosa also revealed that the state will be relying on the private sector for energy production.
This will likely place further strain on the public, electricity sourced from independent power producers will likely come at a higher cost.
