Israel is an entity caught between its military and governmental goals. This is the contention of independent geopolitical commentator, Zaakir Mayet.

He notes that this tension is due to the military being essential to the maintenance of the Zionist occupation, but it is reliant on the Knesset to decide on its tactics.

Mayet was speaking as the month of Ramadaan is being observed in Palestine, which has struck fear in the occupying regime.

Instead of allowing Palestinians their basic rights of praying at Al Aqsa Mosque and observing their religious practices, the Israeli entity’s Benjamin Netanyahu is seeking to crack down on them. This is expected to escalate the dynamics of Operation Al Aqsa Flood.
