A plea has been made for the international community to protect Palestinian children.

The resistance movement, Hamas says the global community needs to intervene and put an end to Israeli occupation regime’s brutality.

It says Gaza’s children including those that are ill are being denied much needed treatment, medicine, and food supplies because of the Israeli siege on Gaza. In the occupied West Bank, Hamas notes that the Zionist forces keep kidnapping Palestinian children, and jailing them, as well as use them as human shields. It adds that the Israeli occupation forces also even kill them.

Hamas statement came as the International Day of Innocent Children, Victims of Aggression was observed.

More than 160 Palestinian children are locked up in Israel’s notorious jails. So far this year over two dozen children have been killed in these Israeli incarceration centres.
