State Security are probing a death threat sent to Director-General in the Presidency Phindile Baleni.

Several days ago, Baleni received an envelope in her letter box containing a bullet and a letter where the perpetrator threatened her life.

In the letter, it said “something special is on for you. Any province you travel we have eyes on the ground. Time is ticking”.

Baleni reported the matter to security agencies and is receiving protection to allow her to continue her duties in the Presidency.
