There has been yet another pitbull mauling.

A woman was seriously injured in an attack in Penhill Estate in Cape Town.

According to Titanium Securitas Medical Response the victim was bitten multiple times and her skin was ripped from her head. It says the patient was stabilised at the scene and required advanced life support intervention. She was transported to a nearby hospital for urgent care.

In the wake of a spate of pitbull attacks, calls have been made for government to implement stricter regulations for those who want to own these dogs.
