Neither the Social Security Agency(SASSA), nor the City of Cape Town are willing to take responsibility for forcing Kraaifontein recipients to travel as far as Eerste River for their grants.

The City has accused Sassa of refusing its offer of the Northdene Hall, while the Agency says that the City of Cape Town is playing politics.

This kind of back and forth is clearly to the detriment of the poor, who are in desperate need of a social grant.
