Today marks 76 years since Zionist militia carried out the massacre of Palestinians in the Deir Yassin village near Al Quds.

Palestinian political commentator, Professor Sa’d Nimer notes that the same brutality of the Zionists in 1948 are being employed today in Gaza.

This as the massacres and execution-style murder of families is being mirrored in the besieged enclave today.

However, Nimer notes that the brutality of 1948 was used as a threat to Palestinians who sought to resist and remain on their land.

He says that this will not be repeated in Gaza, or the rest of the occupied lands, as Palestinians recognise the significance of their resistance in the face of Zionism.
