Palestinian resistance factions have welcomed the news that Yahya Sinwar will be the political leader of Hamas. The Mujahideen Movement says the swift and smooth selection of a new leader for Hamas is a message of strength and defiance to the Zionist enemy.
It believes the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh was an Israeli attempt to create a vacuum and internal confusion. Islamic Jihad Movement also noted that the appointment of Abu Ibrahim as Sinwar is known as proves that Hamas remains strong and cohesive, and that the enemy has not affected its structure despite the war of extermination.
The Leadership of the Popular Resistance Committees has wished Sinwar success in the battle against the settler colonial entity. It says Sinwar is the best successor to the best predecessor. Sinwar has been hailed for playing a pioneering role in the Al Aqsa Flood operation on October 7th which has put the Palestinian cause back at the forefront of regional and international priorities.
