Palestinian journalists have slammed the Israeli occupation soldiers for sexually assaulting Palestinian women.

Journalist Noor Ashour took to social media to report on the first-hand cases of rape of Palestinian women by the Israeli army in Gaza. Ashour says this is not new because it has been happening since the Zionist army entered the enclave.

She explains that because Palestinian women come from an Eastern and conservative society, they would often remain silent to not tarnish their own reputation or that of their family.

Israeli soldiers have also continuously come under fire from social media users for posing in pictures with the underwear and sleeping clothes of Palestinian women after their homes were raided and bombed.
