The night journey, also known as Al-Isra’ wal-Mi’raj holds significant meaning for Muslims. It was the night that Islam’s holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon him) received revelation of the holy Qur’an – the constitution for Muslims to live their lives by in accordance with Islam.

On this night, the noble prophet was transported from Masjiedul al-Haram to Masjiedul al-Aqsa in Palestine where he ascended to heaven to receive revelation of the Qur’an.

Contrasting that with the events happening in present-day Palestine, how can we look to the Qur’an and this sacred night to keep our spirits strong when supporting the Palestinian cause.
