Just over a hundred drunk motorists were arrested over the past long weekend in the Western Cape. Mobility MEC Ricardo Mackenzie has urged the public to refrain from driving under the influence of alcohol. He says even small amounts of alcohol can affect people’s judgment. At least 17 pedestrians and 14 passengers died on the roads over the long weekend.
