Cape Town International Airport operations have resumed after a power outage. Runaway lights, airside fire rescue and air traffic navigation services were affected during the two-day outage.
According to the Airports Company South Africa (ACSA), teams have been working on the issues and managed to return runaway lights and navigational aids to service.
ACSA spokesperson Ernest Mulibana says despite the progress made; teams remain on site to finalise repairs. Travellers have been advised to regularly check their flight information status to plan their journey accordingly.
