Western Cape parents have been encouraged to register their children for the 2023 academic year. The deadline for online registration is April 15.

WCED spokesperson, Bronagh Hammond, says that 30 000 more applications have been logged than the same period last year.

The department is working to avoid late applications and has made pop-up venues at schools and malls available to parents that can’t apply online, or who can’t make it to their district offices.
