The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) will be opening its applications this week. Every year, NSFAS provides funding to disadvantaged students who wish to study at public institutions of higher learning.

Minister for Higher Education, Blade Nzimande is expected to brief the media on the upcoming applications tomorrow and what potential beneficiaries need to have prior to applying. NSFAS applications will be open for the next two months with the final day of applications closing on January 31st.
