As South African’s brace for Local Government Elections 2021, the Independent Electoral Commission(IEC) is set to process the ballots of millions of citizens who decide to cast their votes.

It’s all systems go at results operation centres(ROC) across the country. Over 26-million South African’s are registered to partake in the election, and research polls suggest voter turnout will play a key role in deciding how the top parties fair. Some predict the ANC may return results of below 50%. This would be the first time the ruling party puts in such a poor showing.
