An estimated R500 000 worth of drugs has been seized at a premises in Block B, Langa.

Acting on information about illicit activity some 1500 mandrax tablets, about 50 units of cocaine, and just over 1900 ecstasy tablets were found.

Police say a 26-year-old man has been arrested on charges of possession and dealing in drugs.

The suspect is expected to appear in the Bishop Lavis Magistrates Court.
