Gaza’s Health Ministry has raised the alarm about the catastrophic situation that the Israeli genocidal war machine is imposing on Palestinian children as its strip them of any form of life and childhood.

The ministry says at least 60 000 children are at risk of serious health complications due to malnutrition. This as the Zionist entity with the aid of Egypt has shut the Rafah crossing, blocking the entry of food and other essentials. It further warns that the lack of adequate nutrition and drinking water will compound the health challenges, as vaccinations for children, especially polio, continue to be banned.

The 18 months US backed Israeli genocidal aggression has seen the slaughter of some 18 000 children and wounding of thousands of others. It has also taken a heavy toll on the mental health of children as they are repeatedly terrorised by the Israeli attacks and the scenes of carnage and horror left in the wake of these crimes.
