The trickling in of medical aid to Gaza is confirmation that the Israeli occupation entity is using this as a weapon to slowly kill thousands of wounded Palestinians. That’s the conclusion of Gaza’s Health Ministry’s spokesperson Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra.
He has demanded that intentional organisations intervene and find effective mechanisms to respond to Gaza’s urgent need to save the lives of the wounded and sick. More than 57 000 people have been wounded in Israel’s genocidal war. The ministry says only 645 wounded have left for urgent treatment abroad.
It says 6,000 wounded people are in need for urgent medical care. For the past three months Israel has been waging a war on the hospitals of Gaza by attacking them and denying them much needed medicals supplies and medicines. At least 30 hospitals and 53 health centres are out of service as a result.
