A 48-year-old Palestinian man who was injured in the Israeli assault on the city of Jenin has succumbed to his injuries.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health has identified the martyr as Amjad Al-Jaas.
It takes the number of those martyred in Monday’s assault to six while a seventh Palestinian was killed in the Husan village, located west of the West Bank city of Bethlehem.
During that Israeli aggression on Jenin the occupation forces unprecedently used Apache helicopters to fire missiles on the city. It’s understood that this last happened more than two decades ago. The Palestinian resistance stood their ground during the aggression and confronted the invading Israeli forces.
Over the past few years, Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and the 1948 areas have stepped up their armed resistance.
