Adding another armed force to the Israeli arsenal is the natural outcome of the illegal occupation of Palestine.

This is the contention of political analyst Dr Mustafa Bargouti as the Israeli war minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, has been given the go ahead to form a  2 000-strong private militia.

It will be tasked with cracking down on any dissent in the occupied lands.

Bargouti says that this is because of the occupation of Palestine creating a large population of Israeli settlers.

They are now able to transform the Israeli political system into fascism.

Bargouti says that the Netanyahu administration and religious fundamentalists are supporting this tract of thinking.
